Join us for a fun filled weekend break to the Christmas Markets of Northern France.
Amiens will be hosting one of the largest Christmas market in the north of France and invites you to come and wander in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere…130 chalets will be set up across Amiens city centre. Harking from France and elsewhere, they will be brimming with gift ideas – arts and crafts, decoration and delicious delicacies – in an atmosphere fragrant with the typical sweet smells and flavours of Christmas.
Rouen is a traditional European Christmas market taking place in front of the breath-taking Notre Dame Cathedral. With over 40 stalls and plenty of hot wine, chocolatey waffles and various street performances, this market will be sure to intrigue and entertain you.
It is the perfect place to meet some friends and do some shopping for traditional French Christmas souvenirs to send home to family.
Arras is the capital of the Artois region in Pas-de-Calais. It’s a charming town with a very grand Grand Place, perfect for the Christmas market that takes over the town. Around 90 different exhibitors set out their wares around the beautiful arcaded Place selling local crafts, gifts, decorations and food. There are various craft demonstrations so you can try making jewellery or wood carvings at home, a large carousel full of leaping horses and an ice skating rink. Street performers will entertain you as you sip on that ever popular mulled wine.
